I'm sure its really easy when you know how, but how do you remove the glovebox liner from a '53 series II without hurting it?

A bit of force is normally needed on the later cars, don't know if the 53 is any different.
Presumably when the card board was "fresh" it was a bit more pliable.
Remove screws, push back, then squeeze and wriggle sideways gets them out without much bother.
If any damage occurs it will be on the outside which is invisible when they are fitted.
