I think that's a very childish attitude for a Moderator to take
In Bills defence.. while he's out for the night ( as he stated ) .... that's an absolutely awful thing to say about a man who's done a lot for this club over the years
Anyway what's sig' pics; got to do with the website folley..sorry rally
Mal
just noticed were now on page 5... how many more ??
Matt has offered to organise a website rally in Portsmouth and Roger has offered to organise one in Bletchley. Well done to them for offering and I can't see why there can't be two held. If someone further 'North' wants to organise another all well and good but there haven't been any volunteers yet.
Let's keep the thread on topic. Asides about cows, forging student ID cards, whether the club is northern or southern and the size of signature pics aren't useful to Roger, Matt or anyone else who wants to attend a website rally. Some of the discussion would also be best conducted by pm as it doesn't give a good impression to new users.

It's certainly a lot deeper than any other posts. I think that's a very childish attitude for a Moderator to take!
Whoa!!!!!! It certainly took off while I was out last nignt, didn't it?
Thanks for the comments of support Mal.
In my own defence to comments about my signature by a National Committee member, I would only like to point out that the size was based on that (now changed) of another National Committee member and Webmaster of this site. I think this proves my initial point.
However I will make no further comments on the matter.
Now, where are we having this website rally?

It's always the same old farce re; Website Rally I have offered on several occasions throughout the years I've been a member to organise a Rally/camping combined with a show thrown in but as you are aware no one took the offer up so I gave up offering
Yea Mal I remember you trying to organise something up in your neck of the woods, what is frustrating is others from up that way moan about having no events up there but do nothing about it which as you know is unfortunately why more events are a little further south...............................where they get the support.
Cheers

We'd be up for going up North for a long weekend camping/rally, the problem is the website rallies is they tend to be planned shortly before they happen and we need at least 4 months advance warning to fit a long trip rally in.
Now did someone mention May for this 'ere Bletchley rally or what?
I'd be be up for any weekend in May apart from the first weekend, off to Madrid on a stag weekend that weekend (news of the credit crunch and strong Euro possibly not having reached the best man yet ...)
Perhaps the other bank holiday weekend isn't good either as I guess people often use the long weekends to go and visit family etc.

There wasnt this much interest in the Armouries museum. I passed the buck to wibble anyhow as she had contacts... prehaps it could be a venue at some point in the future though
Mal, i think it would be interesting to have a rally up in your neck of the woods. I have a season ticket a Middlesbrough FC so as long as you arranged it for the weekend of a home game I'll be up there...
Then again, Bletchley is pretty close to home, either way I'm happy

Sorry but must agree with Dan on that one
Last time I went to watch the Boro play.... Brian Clough was playing for them.. and it was a 'bob' ( five pence in new money ) to get in the bob end
May should suit me - although with being on crutches ther'll be none of my fleet repaired and back on the road by then... So I may be there in a vintage (70's ) Vauxhall

I'll send a coded message to the chaps at Benchley and see if I can negotiate a cessation of charges or a reduction in collateral exchange for the day.
