Matt, perhaps you would like to confirm whether or not you are still considering organising a rally in Portsmouth, or whether it is now Bletchley Park for all the Northerners

Possibly I've missed something, but as I understand it, Matt originally suggested a website rally in Portsmouth, now evertone is talking about Bletchley Park, Very simple really.

I think Matt suggested it but although it's a lovely idea (I for one would love to go) it's just too far for a "day rally" Most people have work in the morning.. I suggested Bletchley as it is in the "corridor" that most websiters can reach without spending all day on the road, and as it's "computer orientated" and we are web-users seemed to fit the bill

In the corridor for those further North possibly, but not for those on the South coast that are also websiters

Like the National Rally, there will never be a location that suits everyone. Why not have two? (Although Bletchley Park will be no good for the 'Northern' websiters :-?)

Spring Web Rally

This post is getting boring and I have just read Les's comments on one that was locked for the same thing.. maybe Bill is right ' have three ' :-?
It's the same thing every year with the same old arguments..
Lets face it... we all know the 'MMOC' is a Southern club and stuff everyone that lives North of Milton Keynes.. wherever that is

Actually, most of the people who have posted interest in going to Milton Keynes live north of there

Hence the reason most have chosen Bletchley as opposed to Portsmouth.
'Northerners' win  So we Southerners will just have to drive further than them

Living where I do Mal, my view is that the MMOC is a Northern club

Judge - would it be possible for you to reduce your signature picture a little. Your post fills my entire screen so I can't see what follows without scrolling back and forth

Don't open that worm can....

The club is based in Derby, so how is that Southern?

I'd be happy to travel pretty much anywhere up to Manchester for a decent rally anyhow :D

(And can we have it on a Sunday please, so I can actually go?)

I would love to, but it's no bigger than some of the others, I checked

What about all of us reducing them to a 'standard size'.

It's certainly a lot deeper than any other posts. I think that's a very childish attitude for a Moderator to take! :o
