Black Stains on Woodie's Wood

Post by Munchkin »

Woodie has acquired some nasty black stains on his wood. My brother says there's some sort of acid you can paint on to remove the blackness, but he can't for the life of him remember what its called. Can anybody help?

Thank you.

You will be hard pushed to eradicate the black, water has got in and physically damaged the wood. Bleach will kill off some of the spores and whiten the timber, more importantly find out where the water is getting in and stop it, as black timbers will be the least of your problems.
