A new Elderbrock carb, rear dampers and a different pair of exhaust tail pipes has doubled the price of this car upto (No kidding, just got off the phone to the guy)plastic_orange wrote:That's my mates old minor - I did advertise it on here about 3 years ago for £4.5 k with no takers. I'd say it is one of the nicest around as my mate tried to make it as standard looking as possible (It's my old Merc 190 wheels on it).
He didn't build it, but put his mark on it.
I've got loads of pics, plus several video clips of it in action. It wasn't quite as quick as mine up the strip as it's a manual, but has a high top speed.

£10k....offers over to be correct!
Not really interested in selling, showing or taking it along to meets, chap loves the car and has just advertised for to see if anyone bites at £10-20k!
One helluva Minor but one helluva price!

Not a bad profit from the £4.5k my friend got for it. All for the outlay of around £400. He'll never sell it at that, especially in this environment. I'm not averse to making a profit, but that is taking the proverbial.
