On the subject of moving avatars, I have a small eyesight problem, and find them very distracting, particularly if they flash, or change colour, to the extenet that I cannot read the posts concerned. So, please when designing these avatars, think of those of us who are just a bit less than perfect!

Hi emmerson although I dont have the same problems you have I can understand your frustrations as I do find them very annoying and distracting and its a shame others are not a little more understanding.

I'm about to increase the size of mine in line with some of the others, be interesting to see what happens.

What a bunch of moaners! It's just a bit of fun .
I like my little engine - it's not a 'train' - there are no carriages !
And it's steam - not clockwork!
But if you all really really object - I will of course remove it!

No I dont object as I am used to distractions, and its not a moan.
And I am glad you appreciate the problems it causes to others.

I only ever intended it to be there for a short trial - I 'pinched' it from another Forum. And since I am a Fireman - and hoping to be a Driver before I 'retire' - it seemed appropriate! I'll take it down soon. Roy

Not quite sure what you mean Kevin, but I'm sure you remember the fuss about my avatar. Now just look at some of the others, and yet nothing is said.
