HELP! Morris 1000 van INSURANCE

Post by moggy1756 »

I have just sold my convertible to purchase a morris minor van but am having trouble finding classic car insurance that covers vans. Does anyone know who I could insure it with? Cheers. :o

Moggy1756 if you are an MMOC member make sure you quote you membership number when ringing Footman James as we do have a club scheme. If you have any problems ring the MMOC Derby office - number in Minor Matters

When Gill's van was insured for business use it was through Adrian Flux, now though it's on my collector's policy with AON.

RH has been recommended twice on this thread. I'd like to make that thrice. Nice people and VERY good value. www.rhclassicinsurance.co.uk, 01277 206911.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I did end up getting cover from footman James, however, I did not end up buying the van I'd seen :( Why are there so few vans around? I live in the south west but am willing to travel. If anyone knows of a good van for sale around 4000-£5000, let me know. Having sold my morris convertible, I am now without a car, and am having moggy withdrawals!! :o
