Heldite?

Eh up ! Just found a tin of Heldite gasket stuff will it be o/k to put on Water pump in place of a gasket? or even other gaskets, its a Shxxty brown liquid with MOD markings on it.

Flippin eck ! does this mean the stuff is no good ? do I have to throw it away as a Yorkshire man that would hurt !!

Not heard of Heldite before but it looks like they have a website that lists what you can use it for:

Ta V Much , Alex spot on with web site, will keep the tin that's why I'm Yorkshire and not Scotish.
