Well I think each branch is different. Ours (B'ham) is v. informal we meet for a drink and a chat most months and talk "moggy"
Sometimes we do have a film or we stoll out to the carpark and end up under each other's cars!!
(Summer months only though too cold at present!)

Like the Club itself, a branch is what it's members make it.

The topics of conversation and organisation of HAMMOC resulted in the formation of SADMOG.
Each to his own.

To Join Sadmog, you just need to turn up at the correct pub, the correct day at about the correct time
oh, and then theres the initiation ritual. I can't give you exact details but it involves a hubcap, a starting handle & 20w50 engine oil

Slow down! you can't get it all at once. It's the possibility of grease gun application that brings so many of us back each week.

Sounds dangerously like 'one pint of Guinn**s'. I wonder if the head is emulsified engine oil scraped from the rocker covers? Yuck.
Hmmm. Methinks I will be developing a taste for real ale.

Real Ale rocks! Just discovered Brakspear triple. 4 bottles and you can forget any plans you'd made!
