Can you speak swedish? THANK YOU

Post by rob.hardy1 »

You may be expecting a witty joke behind the subject heading but, no, i do actually need someone who can help me with a small speech i have to make at a wedding I am attending.
One of my oldest friends daughter (my friend is the mother , dad buggered off years ago) is getting married, she is the closest thing i have to a daughter and i love her dearly and i have been honoured by being asked to act as Toastmaster ( i think its because i have big mouth).
One of the things i have to do is to announce to everyone the entrance of the bride and groom at the reception.
Laura is marrying Nicklaus and he comes from Sweden and his parents will be there so I want to do the announcement a little 'differently'
I want to say, alternatley in english and Swedish........
Ladies and gentlemen.........
It gives me the most enormous pleasure to present.......
Mister and Mrs..............

If any one can tell me what those phrases would be in swedish i would be very gratefull.

Phonetic would be even brillianter ( although i suspect with a wiltshire accent would be pushing it a bit :D )

Any budding linguists out there?

Rob

By the way, MEA is being used as a wedding car so pictures will follow.

I think 'Bluesman' may be your best bet! If you list the members alphabetically - he is on page 10 #490!

Just a little update to my fantastic day at my friends daughters wedding.
She is like a daughter to me ( i have sons).
It was , as i said , the most fantastic day and the photos from the day were brilliant. I had an text today from the bride with an update photo.
