MASTER CYLINDER

Post by leython »

Hi I have replaced the brakes and bled them. however every time i push the breake peddle down the break fluid keeps jumping up, and jumpung through the breather holes in the lid of the master cylinder.
it is a 1971 morris miner pickup and i would like to know what you think the problem could be and how/what i should do to fix it.

It is normal to get the fountain effect with the cap off but I don't see how it is coming through the cap if it is screwed down properly?

Have you over filled the master cylinder?
Level should be half an inch below the threads of the filler cap.
