still in the s.... bad books!!

Post by lmangwin »

It was my first " married" valentines day. Thinking my OH wouldnt even know what valentines day was i decided to be practical and buy him a useful present rather than a load of old gush!!

So what did he do.... turn up with presents and soppy gush :-? and then had to look delighted when i gave him chrome polish and vinyl cleaner so he could help me with Daphne!!!!

Chrome polish and vinyl cleaner would be perfect for me rather than the soppy gush!

Even for Christmas and birthday, I tend to make suggestions producing a list from the Machine Mart catalogue.

I've been trying to persuade my wife to contribute car parts for years, but she doesn't quite get the point yet! Still, she did buy me a small tool set. That's a "small tool set", not a "small tool" set.

I made mine breakfast, which is usual for a weekend but this time it was nicer. I did heart-shaped eggs thanks to some novelty egg rings which dont really work.

No card though, I just plain forgot to get one. Got her some chocolate but it turned out to have nuts in it so I ate it myself (wifey doesnt like them).

Ideal valentines pressie would be a card saying "Love you, feel free to spend all day with the car and I'll bring you tea, biscuits and food at regular intervals, signed, the wife."
I daren't suggest it to her though.. :o
What would Macgyver do..?
