...not starting... fuel pump?

Went back to the Minor yesterday - not started it for months Turned over strongly but wouldnt start. Then I realised I hadnt heard the chug chug chug of the fuel pump when I turned the key, so I whacked the fuel pump a few times but didnt make any difference...

Well - it worked the last time Barry! You will need to take the cap off - and run a piece of emery board (ask Miriam !) through between the points to clean off any oxidised material. Do it with the power off - then refit the cap and reconnect the wire. Good luck!
