paint codes

Hi, is there any way of finding out the paint code/colour from any of the under bonnet body tags? Car is a 62 saloon in a dark grey, any ideas what its called please?

Hi there,
I don't think there was actually an option for dark grey in 1962, you could have dove grey which is very light grey or black.
What engine size is it? 1098 or 948?
If it is a 948 it is possible that it is Yukon grey which was actually phased out in november 1961

There was no paint code on the VIN / Chassis tags at '62. Dark(est) grey would have been Dove Grey GR26 or Yukon Grey if it was made in '61....
