If fitted - Must be worn - and will be subject to normal MOT rules of operation etc....

Yes, if fitted must conform to MOT standards and must be worn.

Didn't early seatbelts only have a 2 point fitting, ie a single strap, later seatbelts had a 3 point fitting. I knew there was a good reason why I bought a two door

If it was registered before 1965 there is no legal requirement to have them fitted......

Sorry I'm not too familiar with 4 doors and high mounted trafficators, I have a 2 door with low trafficators. There must be a removeable panel to gain access to the trafficators. Can you remove the panel to see if there is a suitable place above or below which is strong enough to take the top seatbelt mounting bolt without fouling the trafficator mechanism?
The lower bolt can be fitted to the base of the B post with extra strengthening if necessary, or with a bit of dismantling, to the sill.
The remaining mounting bolt can be fitted to the propshaft tunnel just to the rear of the seat, again with additional strengthening and ensuring that there is clearance between the end of the bolt and the propshaft.

I'm sorry, I was thinking I'd look and see if the workshop manual had anything about seatbelt mounts, but I've realised it's up in the attic.

As a side point, as an A&E nurse, please wear seatbelts. While I do quite enjoy the challenge of dealing with major trauma, it's not fun, per-se, and I'd much rather that people didn't come in looking like they'd been in a particularly vigourous blender and instead came in looking more like people.
