window slides down

havent looked at problem yet but my drivers side window slipes down and if you lock the door and want to get in you just put your hand on window slide down and your in. I have got spare complete doors for spares but can I repair and save my spare parts

maybe the spring has gone in the winder mechanism, or the window itself is not in the roller at the end of the mechanism properly

Agree with Dennis remove the handles and take the panel off then you be able to see what's what.

I thought it would be a spring its been like it for 26yrs as the pick up is getting improved on all the time I supose its time I fixed it is it a spring I can replace or would I be easier to replace the whole thing

Easiest thing might be to replace the whole winder mechanism.

Not a pleasant job...

That´s a little spring within the door handle.

Which side is it?

passenger side but drivers side is not to good either

Best thing to do with those is auto jumbles.

That is where we found a good original one for the four door.
Problem with drivers side is obviously the key.

window sorted as you said all worn out changed mechanism winds up and down but best thing is it stays put 40 mins to repair should have done it 26yrs ago why do it today when I can do it tomorrow [not the attitude]
