Have you tried asking on the wolseley forum as the members there will probably be more knowledgeable about the current spares situation.

No problem. It looks like a good site. I'm sure they'll be able to answer all your Wolseley related questions. :D

Do you think you will be able to use the M word in the W forum?

What did they say about the Kingpins ? Although it's the 'same' kingpin - the hole for the steering arm is drilled through in the higher up 'bulge' in the arm. However - I suppose W kingpins could be re-drilled and used on Minors ...........

Well I can't see any 'anti w' comments here :-?

It's just common sense that if you want detailed advice about a car that isn't a Morris Minor you'd be better off using an appropriate forum as you're more likely to meet other owners and get the answer you need.

No anti W comments .. I can fix that.

W is a terrible letter .. all spikey and angles, not like the lovely letter O or B ... even Q is a nicer letter than W, and dont get me started on X or its slightly less spikey cousin Y :D

PS: Yes I *am* a fruit loop, they only let us use the internet in here since tommy ate the crayons and made himself sick all over matron.

Some Wolseley kingpins had both holes open and can be used on Minors.

Well if they have both steering arm holes open then yes they will, this is the only difference between the two.

So- how have the W (and R) boys been keeping their cars going vis a vis kingpins ? Have they been using Minor parts - and machining the extra steering arm hole ? Or do they have a tied-in supplier for their own kingpins ??
