Side Window Templates

Post by ricombi »

To anyone who may be able to help,

I require side window templates for a Morris Minor 100 (My car is a 1964 shell if it makes a diference) as I need to make perspex windows for racing purposes. I do not have any side windows to draw around, so am pleading for help if anyone has a set around that they could draw around, label drivers & pasengers [if necessary] and post to me then this would be fantastic.

Obviously any materials cost and postage would be re-imbersed with many, many thanks. If anyone can help then please let me know!

If you can make it up to preston then I have a pair of side windows in my back yard that you can trace round.

I guess if you PM me then I could draw round them on some paper and post them to you.

Do you have the door glass also? If you PM me your address then I will post you an addressed A4 or 5 envelope with stamps attached as Preston is a bit of a distance for me. Thanks for your reply

hmmm ... I dont have the door glass taken out of a door, although I do have a couple of spare doors the glass could come out of ... still, the other alternative would be taking some cardboard and cutting it to fit in the spaces you have ... would save you stamps as well as waiting for me to get around to doing the drawing (I'm terribly unreliable)

It would be the same process as making a gasket that you dont have ... take some cardboard and a soft hammer, place it around the area and bash the cardboard gently to indent the shape of the hole ... cut round roughly the indented shape you have and then refine until it fits.

I'm pulling my door glass ('61 pickup) out this weekend to install new lining in the tracks.
If you can wait for a post from the US, would be happy to oblige.
Don't even sweat the postage.
