Hi Everyone
I recently put a new head gasket on using no sealant cleaned the hole out in the rockers and put it all back together everything is fine exept there doesnt appear to be any oil coming up on the rockers could anyone tell me what to do please.

Bob, why is it you think there is no oil coming up on the rockers? Have you run the engine yet? Were all the oilways clear and free from gasket material when you put the head on (did you compare old gasket to the new one to check all holes were in the same place?) If the oilways are clear then there is no reason why oil won't be pumped up to the head.....

Have you assembled the the rocker shaft and washers correctly?
If you look at the cylinder head with the rocker assembly removed you will see an oil feed hole under one of the pedestals. This should line up with a hole in the bottom of the pedastal. There is also an oil feed hole in the rocker shaft which should also line up. Small holes along the shaft feed oil to the rockers. I hope this helps.

Hi Mike I think I have got it sorted I took that little screw out at the front of the rocker and you could only see a fraction of the hole so I have put it right and will put it all back now and try again so thanks for all the help I am glad you are here to help folk like me but I suppose I will learn about these things the more I do .mike.perry wrote:Have you assembled the the rocker shaft and washers correctly?
