saw these on ebay, and bought a couple as i am fitting non reflective lights to mine and wanted something small. but they do look strikingly like the ones esm were selling for the boot motif on the Mm/series II's...

I got one of these a few months ago, it doesnt fit inside the boot reflector like the original one does but it was the exact size if the outer bit of chrome. I just glued it on until I find the right one.
Image
Presently researching plastic moulders to reproduce the original item, I have 3 originals to use as patterns.

With a very sharp stanley knife and a bit of patience you can parr these bigger reflecters down to size.... Just work around the circumference scrapping a little at a time and revolve the reflecter between your fingers at the same time (easier to do than describe) !!

If you get the 948 type teardrop-shaped taillights and smash them you'll get a nice round insert out of it that sort of fits. I cut one down and used reflective tape inside it for the MM boot reflector.

Hope this helps.

i converted mine into a brake light(as most of you know) but then just before christmas the reflector came off...so...i got a chrome bezel and glass from an A35 sidelight(i had one kicking around) and you know what...it fits perfectly onto the badge, as if it were designed for it! brilliant, once again, i will take a pic when i am not so lazy!
