I recorded a back to back series of classic car programmes yesterday presented by a 1970's rally driver and a chap known for making road worthy sofas. They focused on 1920 taxis, rollers, rally cars, sports cars, Jags,Bmws and even bubble cars. But the the morris minor?,,, only when filming a classic car show in a field somewhere and then only parked next to the car of the moment.
I was really looking forward to watching something on tv about MY favorite but...nothing.......nada. Thank goodness for 32x fast forward.
It was good to see older cars restored and looked after but i was so dissapointed.
So, the Morris Minor is'nt a classic then.

i think some consider the morry to not be a classic because it was such a common car, but i think its a classic even though its common because it was so revolutionary at the time. it was very iconic and still is. talk to anyone over 40 years old and they either owned a morry or knew someone who did and they would have stories about it.
thats the case here in NZ anyway. Cars dont need to have super high values or be one of a kind to be classic
