The core of the radiator is the same size as the M1000. If you take it along to your nearest radiator repairer they will be able to fit a new core, and check the condition of the top and bottom tanks. Unless you have made a real mess of the bottom tank it should be repairable.
Mark the position of the side straps and make sure that they are re-attached in the same place.
Whilst you have the rad out it is worth fitting a drain tap to the bottom tank.
The top and bottom tanks are completley different to the M1000, ie the hoses are on opposite sides.
It will probably cost you at least £80. Or you could start looking for a 2nd hand rad.
I don't know what the exchange rate is but that sounds a lot of money.
Normally they just measure up the rad and find a core that fits.
With all the MMs in NZ there should be a few 2nd hand rads about.
they are indeed, even though that does use a gas torch...

yea its quite good, no bad fins - just a few bends
(the one i was using was falling apart)
just gave it a touch up with some heatproof matt black paint
The cut out is to clear the fan blades on the end of the dynamo. My radiator doesn't have the cut out. Perhaps the previous owner used a slightly longer fan belt
