With the help of a mate I've got serious with 11 years of loft clutter. I discovered that despite additional ventillation the thing is dripping with condensation. I'm planning to add insulation between the rafters (directly under the roof felt in other words).
Has anyone got any experience of where to get this stuff? Ideally I'm looking for a big retailer that is flexible enough to offer a discount to a ordinary bloke whose buying in bulk.

I noticed a simlar problem when getting the Xmas decorations out of the loft.
Looking around the cheapest insulation is going to be traditional roll stuff but you can now get it incased in a plastic covering.

I'm going to use a staple gun to attach the plastic to the rafters.
When whole area is covered them I'll probably cover the lot with something like nylon garden netting (sods law says I though away a roll of the stuff that is used for shading the inside of a greenhouse a little while ago
) to stop sagging.
I looked at sheet insulation but VERY expensive by comparison.
