Most of that front end is custom mate. If you are going to go through insurance i will try to find the number for a bodyshop in Hillsea. My mate works there and he carved out the shape of the car origionally.

A standard Minor can be repired with second hand panels if needed - A custom front end can't.

well done for getting photos - It shows the lack of concern by the other party! Most people would have been careful not to bring the car back to the scene if they wanted to get away with it.

Well its my old one if thats what you mean Ray Still makes me grin when people say its lovelly though!
Hopefully it will all get sorted with minimum of fuss. I would have offered to do it myself (in exchange for a little blast over the hill) had it not been for my current location!

if it came to court as a civil matter (ie to recover costs) its not about a reasonable doubt - its about whose word is believed (known as the balance of probabilities). you probably have a much stronger case than you think.

of course... you'll want to avoid court if you can!!
