traveller door handle

i have took the back doors of a traveller to strip and varnash i cant get the handle off

Can you be more specific about which nuts / bolts you can't undo?
Remove the screw at the back of the the spindle (inside the door) and you can withdraw the handle
Remove the 2 screws above and below the handle and the chome surround will come off.

i have took the 2 screws on the outside of and the one on the inside but it will not come out

You can try and soak the spindle /lock with penetrating oil, but dont hold your breath. I ended up sawing between the lock and door to get handle off. Tried to hammer the spindle out with 4lb club and drift but ended up drilling spindle out.

I got mine out by heating it with a small flame (seems to break to seal). B careful of the wood tho! :lol:
