What did you do today?

I spent half the day fitting a new head unit power amp subwoofer and 6X9s for my son's Christmas present.

Bev said that you could feel it in the lounge when we turned it on on the drive!

I had to run a power cable to the amp that looked like a braided washing line!

However, I have to admit it did sound good!

we had a church service this morning, then lots to eat, then walk in the country, then lots to eat, then TV, then lots to eat....

Woken by the telephone at 7.30 am to be told by the police they would be round in an hour

. Then spent 2 1/2 hours with a CID officer and my son who had witnessed a mugging on his way home from the pub last night. He had followed the three suspects while talking to the police operator until officers arrived. Then spent 1 hour putting his new bike together.

Not what you call a quiet day, never had the police round for Christmas before unless you count my nephew who is off duty when he calls.

Nice late morning with breakfast in bed and opening stocking presents followed by big pressies downstairs with the inlaws and kids. One nice big Lego Technic set and Ray Newell's 60th aniversary book so I'm happy as a swine in swill.

played my new xbox 360, hung out with my girlfriend and her family. Pretty fun day.
