Tire Pressures

Post by RichT »

Hi,

First time user here! I have recent taken possesion of my Morris 600wt Van - I use it for work, and carry perhaps 2-400kg of tools in the back.
I am wondering what kind of tire pressures I should be using. Can anyone here help?

thanks,
Richard

Welcome to the forum Richard. From your spelling - I'm guessing North America ? You could put your location up in your profile.
The tyre (tire) pressures will depend to an extent on the wheels - are they the wider 'van' wheels or just the standard saloon wheels ? And what section tyre(tire) are you using ? I would say with that load of tools on - you should probably put the rears up to 30/32 psi, and 28 should be fine for the fronts.
