Green moggie in Top Gear?

Post by stephenpolhill »

Did anyone else see the light green 2dr in the scrap heap of the longest jump challenge?
I had a glimpse and then when there was a closer look I was sure. Is it just me seeing things or was it there? :P

Just J-j-j-jiggle it a bit.

Well, it doesn't really matter what colour it was does it, its just the fact that it was there at all that's the upsetting bit! :(

That's one definitely, but not where I was looking - the one I saw may actually be a beetle - or just my bad eyesight! :P

Probably because it was rubbish.

Why not moan about ones that are going to be trashed for no reason not ones that already have, or even better try to stop them being trashed in the first place?

Im not being purposefully antagonistic, this is my view! It just annoys me seeing threads like this where people are picking out classics from the heap and going "ooo another classic trashed, ooo im never watching top gear again, I hate Jeremy clarkson blah blah blah...."
If I was being picky I would point out that theres also a Mark 1 Golf in that pile (big fan of these cars, they were one of the final nails in British leyland's poorly made, badge engineered coffin) , but no-one seems to care about that????????????

Im going to stop ranting now because I dont wish to make enemies, although Im probably correct in thinking I already have.

I like Mk1 Golfs hugely reliable, but not one remaining on our roads!! they all rusted away!!

youngun I personaly complain about cars like those being thrashed is that I'm sure parts could have been salvaged off those cars!!
