Front suspension help please

Any tips on removing the top trunnion pivot (to connect to damper arm)-looks it has been on for 40 years! Tried driving out but does not want to buddge

The pin in the damper arm is extremely difficult to remove - dampers can sometimes be 'exchanged' with that pin still in place. Can only suggest heat + puller (or hydraulic press if you have access to one) if you absolutely MUST get it off.

you can get a pair of mole grips or big wrench and put that on the flat that is there and twist i have done it this way

My best tip for this: exchange the damper, and buy a new pin at the same time.

If you want to keep the damper but just change the pin, then twist hard and at same time get someone to whack the side of the boss (whacking the side of the boss loosens the taper)
