Whats all this talk of garages? Surely they're just for parts storage. All my work is done on the pea shingle drive. It traps air so is really warm to lie on! :D Aujord-oui as they say in France.

My cars are inside - but there is so much stuff packed around I do have to roll them out to any work on them!

I want to put the car in the lounge but the OH isn't happy with having to watch the tv in the kitchen and having to replace the front room window with a garage door :( So it has to go in my hideaway (the actual garage).

If you tend to lack motivation in the winter (or at any time for that matter) I recommend taking lots of photos of your work and posting up a "blog" thread on here for others to see and comment on - works for me, gives me loads of enthusiasm and makes it feel like we're all doing the job together - well, sort of! :D :D
Some people are like slinkies - they serve no useful purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you throw them downstairs.

I've been busy buying loads of parts for my car, and have so far fitted none of them  Haven't even started it since the end of August.

I'm fortunate to have a garage to work in, and need to start fitting the new leaf springs, 3.7 diff, clutch bleed hose, fuel cut off switch, intermittent wiper kit etc etc. Makes me tired just thinking about it

Start? After a while you realise they have taken over more than just the house ;-)

I've had 5 wings in the Dining Room and parts all over the house. I bought a greenhouse - that now looks like the backshop for either Bull Motif or ESM. Radiators in the cloakroom and bits under the bed.

I've got no one to blame seeing as I bought most of the bits  !!

Just ordered a new choke cable to be fitted soon, I fear it's far too cold to do anything else. That's my excuse for the moment anyway..
