I have got a couple of Wolseley front cylinders. I don't know if they are any good but they are available for the price of the postage. I will dig them out tomorrow and have a look at them

Thanks Mike - now where did I put the old ones I took out that set of backplates two years ago? Probably they are off looking for the flywheel bolts!

I am sure that "in a box in a safe place " I have a set of Wolseley drums, /backplates, springs and a set of four NOS wheel cylinders. I will try and find them tomorrow and if so put them on Parts for Sale

I was a bit suprised, costs less than fitting disks though and retains the character and feel, which is more important to me. Someone must have wanted them bad to bid me that high!

There was a set of Riley 1.5's that went for £120 not so long ago.

Blimey! I didn't think W1500 front brakes were so much in demand. I must have 4 sets in the shed.

They do make a difference to a Minor it must be said.

Well - you are a rich man then Staffs ! I would wait till after Christmas to put them up for sale - when folks may have 'Christmas Money' burning a hole in their pockets!

I might just do that. These just came from Wolseleys which I dismantled years ago, cars that were too far gone to do anything else with.

They look correct - that seller however is always on the 'high side' price-wise! But - if you think they are worth it - go for them!
Edit - they are cheap compared to grumpygrandads' price!

Yes - sorry , I was 'interrupted' mid post! Grandad's did indeed sell, and are considered toi be a bargain - that was the point I was trying to make - it looks like these Popy's (what a horrible name for an ebay shop!) shoes are cheap!
