On each banknote, there are a bridge.5, 10,20,50, 100,200 and 500euro.
The bridges represented symbolize the bond which links not only the European people between them, but also Europe with the rest of the world
And le pont du Gard is worth 5 euro !!!

Here a old thatched cottage in Brittany with its external staircase and furnace to cook the bread beside .in a little village near home.

This was taken last year at our local folk and transport museum at Cultra, Co Down. This street is called Tea Lane and was taken down brick by brick from its original location in Belfast city centre and rebuilt here in the 1980s. The folk side is all based around 1900 and has all sorts of buildings typical of that era. The transport side is also well worth a visit, with huge car and train galleries as well as flight and a Titanic exhibition. All in all a great way to spend a day.!
The NI branch organised a rally here for around 5 years that was always well attended, though we decided to change venue for a couple of years to give some variety.<br><br>

Originally a farm (& for information of Lily, was modelled on a farm created by French King Louis XV1 for Marie-Antoinette) it became the 'Ovaltine Dairy Farm' in the 1930's with a famous herd of Jersey cows to provide milk for Ovaltine manufacture. It now forms a private housing estate.<br><br>

As a child I always fantasised about owning the old Ovaltine factory, then they went and ruined the dream by turning it into flats
it's about time to finish historic house theme,
yet I thought of having many photographs,when I see all people who discuss here..................
