bypass pipe

Could someone help Ive just taken the head off my 1098 minor and found the water pump bypass pipe has corrodied the one on the water pump is in the same condition but ill replace that im more concerned about my head is there a way to get around the or wiil i have to bodge it

The bit in the head is potentially get-out-able — give it a soak of penitrating oil earlier and follow my method in the thread Ray refers to. Its worth a shot.
