3 spoke chromed steering wheel

Post by MGFmad »

Will this type of wheel fit my 1968 model as I like the look of the earlier design?

Yep, apparently the two spoked wheel was brought in instead because it was 'safer'. Does anyone know how it's any different?

It will need it's own type of centre cap/horn push - but yes it does fit. I guess in a really bad accident the earlier wheel metal spokes could break out from the rim and stab you!

I swapped my 2 spoke wheel for the earlier 3 spoke, complete with horn push. The original flat 3 spoke wheels will not fit as they are a woodruff key fit, not a spline.
