Thanks Kev, Seen the video now, fantastic van, well done Wibble. Seeing the back doors come open reminds me when mine did that & a filing cabinet slid out into the middle of the road. Charlie.

Glad you like it, Charlie! :D but it's "well done the team", really, given that aupickup and alex holden did so much of the work (and so fast and so efficiently and with so little swearing 8) ) :D :D

The filing cabinet thing reminds me of a comedy clip - film? TV programme? can't remember. Sounds scary, anyway - how fast were you going at the time? :o

Russ - after the New Year would be good, perhaps February? 8) I get very busy (for me) in the run-up to Christmas with choir and family stuff, and then by Christmas I need a good few weeks to recuperate cos of the M.E. making me a big girl's blouse  :)

I thought swearing was an integral part of the job?

ROFL

The only time I definitely won't swear when working on a car is when something goes BADLY wrong, then I need all my brain power to figure out putting it right

Ah - then that might have been the explanation with the work on my van - almost everything which needed doing to it was either a disaster or a crisis or both 8)

The filing cabinet

Post by JuNK512G »

Wibble, At least the filing cabinet can't fall out again as most of it now forms the many repair panels in Junk, but then again my welding efforts can be suspect at times. :P Charlie.

Respect is due! :D Loving your work.

There used to be a reenactor (many years ago back when the hobby was in its infancy) who was known as The Zanussi Warrior as he had painstakingly panel-beaten armour for himself out of an old washing machine :D

I expect that hurts nearly as much as a big drip of black hammerite!
