Excellent atmosheric photo of the moggy in the workshop- definitely works much better in black and white. You can almost imagine (Sir) Alec Guinness hovering in the corner wringing his hands and looking worried/sad. Sorry- just getting carried away again!

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

Maybe this is more than a coincidence then. Maybe we are predisposed to like that sort of thing. The rugged simplicity of a Zenith, the rugged simplicity of a Minor. The lack of technology meaning the involvement is so much greater and an 'interest' or passion is born. It would make sense and goes someway to explaining how I'll never find computers even slightly evocative  .

Oh and here's an early one from my Zenit. True colour and a bit messy cos it's a scan from a print that's been lying about for decades.
South Crofty 1988. The last working tin mine in Cornwall.
Oh, still got my Zenit BTW. 8)

People I know think I'm pretty mad with my ideas of nice country drives on a quite Sunday afternoon and everyone being nice to each other

I seem to live in the past with the interests I have (old cars and steam trains) yet I'm in uni studying computer networking and couldn't live without my PC

I need to somehow combine the two and get a nice balance of yester-year and the present
