Brittian's Limited
I'm trying to trace the history of my Minor. (under construction)
The info i got back from the BMHT was that mine was despatched to Brittian's Limited in Brighton on 4/3/58.
I can't find any info for this dealership.
Anyone in the know?
Or know someone who does?
thanks
Jon

See if this helps, i.e. quote: The business of Brittains was bought, providing Morris, MG and Riley distributorships for central Sussex, and additional large premises in Brighton, Hove, Lewes and Worthing.

looks like a typo error from the 1950's.
Someone also got the body coluor code slightly worng..
BMHT records show as an E, but plate on the car is a T. Different shade of green.
Spoot the deliberate mitsake?
thankyou

contacted the BMHT and they confirm theres a misprint on the certificate.
Also, it should be as my chassis/bulkhead plate. (T not E) for the body colour. (light green instead of mid green)
mines light green (T)
they are sending a replacement certificate with correct info.

Brittian's Limited
My 2door left Brittain's Limited just over 50years ago. It was in a lot better condition than it is at the moment.

Seconded -that shell looks to have aged rather well! Most of mine were far more corroded.
Can't tell too much from the photos but typical places like front flitch extension joint and front upper bumpstop area don't look to be covered in patches so not such a hard resto I'd guess.
