Reccomendations for good panel suppliers
Hi.
Does anyone have any reccomendations (or otherwise) for panel suppliers? I need all the normal underside bits, and want the best fittting panels rather than having to do a lot of tweaking.

I've only used Bull Motif & the Morris Minor Centre in Bath. The first lot I found pretty helpful, the guys in Bath seemed to not know what they were talking about... or maybe I asked the wrong questions!!
The website for the latter is pretty comprehensive if not particularly well designed...

lowedb,
The best panels were made by Henrics in Nottingham.
They closed down one or 2 years ago, so the only way to get their stuff is to buy second hand from unfinished projects!
Not easy if you need something ASAP, but their stuff was excellent. If you can put jobs off for years (my normal timing..) then they are worth looking for. Their panels were all stamped HENRICS.
A lot of their tooling went to LMC Hadrian, but having seen LMC panels on other cars (very thin) I wouldn't ask for one.

The way I understood it was LMC and Hadrian are two different companys but I might be wrong. The LMC badge is yellow background and black writting and yes like Ray said awful panels, thin and don't fit. Hadrian panels have a green label much larger and has white fethers or something up the side and white writting I think, I have replaced all the available panels under my traveller using Hadrian panels and they are much better quality and a brilliant fit. I live local to the the factory where they are prest and got them through an agent in Yeovil. I would recomend Hadrian myself.
cheers, Daniel

The pulling power of a Turbo Diesel! The voices may not be real, but they have good ideas.

ray
they just arrived on saturday and I didn;t get a chance to do anything with them. I'm working in Holland at the moment so my father took the pics and sent them to me so I could see what they are like!
Hopefully during the week my welder will be in and some work will be done

Hi George.
Iknow the feeling - I struggle to work on my cars from a different country too!
Mind you I've not travelled for a month, but got lumbered welding cars for mates instead
Just remember to use the door as a template when doing such major metal surgery!
Cars have a habit of relaxing into a new shape when you chop out floors and sills...

i know, my car has had a lot of major work done to it and I've tried to do everything to get her to keep her shape. I just hope that at the end of the day she will be alright.
