I have 7" drums on my '53 series II and although the swivel pin fits the car, the hub shaft diameter is larger than the hole through the bearing in the drum. So my drum will not slide onto the shaft over the brake pads. I felt like crying when this happened.

A) Does this mean I have completely the wrong swivel pin, which I was told came off an old series II? Is it possible I have MM swivel pins on mine?
B) Can I simply replace the bearing in the drum and all will be fandango? Or is the geometry different?
C) Am I wasting my time and have to wait until the suppliers get any in?
I've tried the technical section but I can't find anything, thanks for your help.
