68 Minor - What emissions for MOT?
As I'm geting closer to getting the car finished I am starting to think about the MOT requirements, am I right in thinking that its only a visual smoke test they do for the MOT rather than a specific CO% emissions figure?

Nowadays the MOT computer prints a list of checks that the tester needs to make according to the vehicle and its age. So no worries about the tester 'not knowing' Classic Friendly is always good thoughSidney'61 wrote:Though it might be worth checking if your MoT station is classic car friendly as some that only deal with modern cars might not know that.

Though if your really lucky they'll do the check anyway so you can see how well its running, even though they can't fail it on that its nice to know...
