I had often wondered about your name.... I mean "Wibble".... Couldn't figure out the relevance of this. But, having now seen your Van, I understand...... "Wibble" is the noise my mouth is making as I'm speechless to say anything coherant :-)
Fantastic looking ride.... Oh, and "Hi" by the way

Here's the video of the first drive. You can see a higher resolution version if you follow that link, then click on "Watch in high quality."

What a brilliant weekend!

Sorry aupickup. It took us until Monday to get the brakes working properly, but once it was drivable there was no way we could resist taking it for a spin. ;) :D :D

thanks, alex, for filming that moment and for posting up the video. No doubt I will eventually get tired of watching it 8)

It really was criminal that aupickup wasn't there. It's almost entirely due to him that the van is at the stage it's now at, he is a superhero.

Lots of other people have helped too; Jonathon, Bigginger, Peetee, motherofgod, and everyone on the forum who patiently dealt with my billions of questions; non-forum members Nicky, Bennett, Gerbil (who designed the paint), Emrys, and Griff; the guys on both sides of the business at ESM, and the lovely guys at my local motor factor; and in particular Onne and Cam who each came down and stayed a couple of days to help work on a specific aspect of the rebuild. I hug them all. And especially Holden, who must be bonkers to drive six hours each way to work like a navvy for three days rather than taking some proper r&r in between two full working weeks.

Thanks for your comments Onne, moggiemadman, bmc and stag36587, glad you like :D The paint job is a professional one, done by a local accident repair specialist garage who worked on the fine finishing on Friday afternoons as a way of winding down at the end of a busy week lol.

Thanks David, really glad you like it 8) Good point about not being able to sneak about incognito, I better behave myself from now on, eh :o
