Vacuum Gauge
My manifold does not have a vac take off. I want to fit a vac gauge. Should I drill the manifold for the connector or can I take it from somewhwre else?

Better to drill the plastic spacer between carb and manifold and fit a takeoff tube into that. Less bits need removing to prevent drillings getting into the engine.
You can T piece the vaccum line to the dizzy, but that's a ported vacuum line so the readings would be for economy only and not really accurate.
