series 2 c post

Hi Iam trying to fit a bottom repair section to a C post on a series 2 but am not sure how it fits to the sill finisher there appears to be a gap can any one tell me if this is right or post a picture. can not look at the other side that need doing as well.
also can anyone give me the diamention of the the spring shackle and lifting eye plate .thank you

I assume that your doing a 4 door?
I had to do the C pillar on both sides of my car, the repair panels are rubbish, but they're a start.
Hope these pics are of help. If not i can run out to the shed and take some more detailed ones.

The sill finisher should sit flush with the end of the c post i think, ill offer mine up tommorrow, see whats what and post the pics.

Hi YC thanks for the pic's agree repair panels are rubbish. If you can offer up the sill finisher I think you might see my problem. The sill finisher tapers to single thickness material at one end so unless the C panel is set at an angle across its width with one side touching the sill finisher there is a gap the other side is this right? Will try and post a picture to carify my problem. The car is a 4 door reg Jan 1954 with original mm type dash complete rust bucket, but am getting there SLOWLY.
