I've just sold my 109 - couldn't face driving it anymore as it was impossible to park in town. I can get a tow vehicle from work, and don't have time for offroading so it was pointless keeping it.I wouldn't be without one!
My 2.25 petrol 88" returned something like that. It really wasn't practical for the daily commute down the motorway to work, unlike my Minor.rayofleamington wrote:my previous 88" series 3 was a 2.25 diesel and only just managed 30mpg on long journeys and that had 3.5 diffs. It ran happily on 50% veg oil though. With standard gearing I'd expect 15 - 20 on mixed driving.
