hi all
After painting molly i was thinking about the pinstripe down the sides , I was told the stripe colour should be o e w to match the wheels and front grille, would this colour be right for the year ( 1967) ??? Also i was informed the stripe was originally painted on by a sign writing brush when the car was first made. I was thinking of spraying on the pinstripe , as celly goes off to quick to brush even though i have a signwriting brush, i can't seem to get a enammel to match oew if this is the correct colour. If i knew the coulor before i sprayed the moggy it would of been easier to do the pinstripe before the whole car was sprayed. so to mask off the whole car just for the pinstripe lol .
if i go this route i might do a step by step guide for anyone who is intrested

The colour of the pinstripe depends on the colour of the car i.e Black cars had a red pinstripe etc

There really should be a chart to show which colour coachline goes with which body colour. All the body colours and codes are listed on the Series MM website

Try a model kit shop for tiny tins of paint suitable for stripe. Also - you can buy fancy masking tape with a pull-away centre strip to help apply the stripe.

I keep telling you it's "Peat" not "Pooh"!! brown. See you all Saturday - don't have any breakfast or you won't have room for all the cake!
