after three and a half years in the back of my garage, the engine started up as good as gold. Bit of tweaking of the timing etc and it's running as smooth as a baby's smoothest bits.
Fitting the rad was a trick, as the rad panel had been repaired and didn't fit properly [cue hollow laugh, as in, which panels have fitted properly?



I learned all sorts of stuff, most of which I got laughed at for asking about, but fair play, we all have to learn somehow and I'm just incredibly lucky to have a patient, highly experienced and very knowledgeable teacher!

A very busy day, I ache all over, and may even have got my hands slightly dirty..... but The Beast Lives!!!



electrics next, and then brakes, and then the rest of the bodywork (rear doors, bonnet).... and then, trial runs around the drive before the MOT!!!
