Paint colour

Post by pmdavies »

Hi

How do I find out the actual body colour. Are there any codes on the vehicle that would correspond with a chart. Not sure if I've got Snowberry white or Old English white (1967). Also have a 1955 which is green?

Thanks

In 67 it was Old English White upto October and Snowberry White after (although there would have been some overlap). However, OEW came with Cheroke Red trim and SW came with Black Trim so it should be easy to tell which is which. 1955 would be Empire Green. Sage Green didn't come until 1956..... HTH, Rich

Old English ia a lovely creamy colour - very close to good old household Magnolia! Snowberry white is a harsh white . I much prefer my OEW - dunno white BMC felt they had to go to Snowberry!
