This is quite a challange. Police persons tend not to 'pound the beat' these days, instead they prefer to drive around in their cars, leaving the pounding to PCSO's. Still I'm sure one of us will strike lucky at some point.
.
Also thought this thread needed a bump so it doesn't get forgotton.

just park outside the police station then wait for one to walk through the door and snap up a picture. or even better, get him to pose on the bonnet as a joke!

I win
I'm driving the Minor in the second row just before being moved to the front row, when the car was voted as the most popular classic by readers of Practical Classics

I claim it! In this picture I'm thinking with a paintbrush in my hand, together with Lintilla and her partially rebuilt engine:
Here's my challenge: a Minor near either a big wind turbine or a working windmill (ie. within a few hundred feet, not on a hillside in the distance). Bonus points if you can capture a video that shows the blades turning!

Hold on, hold on, that was NOT the challenge
I'll post one in the morning.

I think Alex did a very smart job of winning that last challenge - he should choose the next one ! Fairs fair!

As I said, that was not the challenge. I was simply saying that I would think about it while I was busy painting. As you say, fairs fair.
Have you got a picture that meets Alex's criteria then

Oh no, I sense a rift in the photo challenge fabric. Isn't this how one-day cricket started?
