My traveller has dirty petrol which clogged up the carb so much that it wouldn't start (now solved).
So how do I go about solving the problem ? I know I can put a filter in the fuel pipe between the petrol pump and the float chamber, but is this enough ? Do I need to drain the petrol tank too and do something with that too ?

Drain the tank and then put fresh in the tank and then use the pump to draw the remaining old petrol out of the pipe into a glass jar, this should remove the offending petrol.Do I need to drain the petrol tank too and do something with that too ?
