Third washer jet
I used to have 3 washer jets on my Austin 1100.
The third one was on the nearside and angled upwards and away from the car.
Good for both cyclists and bus queues.
A friend of mine had an extra floor mounted dip swith to kill the ignition so that he could "break down" for a while when out with his girlfriends.
Any other suggestions for standard items with exra uses?

This message board is like a family - you can't choose the other members!! But remember engine oil is thicker than water.

Many years ago my mini had 3 spots on the front, the outer 2 were wired independantly of the head lights so if spotted by an officer of the law I could get off down the dark country lanes with no tail lights to follow. The middle spot was on a washer switch and affectionately known as the 'B****rd blinder' for the folks who don't know how to dip their headlights! What a naughty boy I used to be

[Coughs appologetically] My second car was fitted with 100W bulbs in the main beam and the same in the spotlights. Had it ever been necessary there would be no way I could have shaken off a 'jam sandwich'. they would just follow the trail of burning hedgerows. What a naughty boy I used to be
Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.
